Recently on Kapil Sharma Show actor Shakti Kapoor said that his friend Rishi Kapoor will return to India by the end of August. And, he will celebrate his birthday on September 4th in India.
However, Rishi Kapoor, who is being treated in New York, has denied this. He said it’s not possible to return to India for his birthday.
According to an English news website, Rishi Kapoor said, “I have to live here for 11 months, so I cannot return to India before the end of August.”
This is a Very Difficult Phase: Rishi Kapoor
Rishi Kapoor further said, “It is a very difficult period, it is very tiring physically and mentally, but Neetu (wife) and my children (Ranbir and Ridhima) are very supportive. I am very grateful to all. I look forward to returning. After 5-6 weeks, after my last treatment, I will plan to return. They call this consolidation or pushback, under which I undergo therapy and make sure that the disease won’t return”
‘The treatment is going on now’: Kapoor
Rishi Kapoor further said, “I hope that I can plan a return by the end of August. Still, there is nothing more than convincing to say that I will return on my birthday in September.”
He further said, “As far as my health is concerned, I am fine with the blessings of my family members, friends, and fans, almost cancer-free, but my treatment is still going on.”
‘Time Taken For Reaction Causes Trouble’
The actor said, “the problem is not the treatment. But it is the time taken for the reaction.
There is a gap of 6 weeks in treatment.
And, you can eat till the next treatment, shopping, watching movies, living a normal life. Which I would like to do at my home in India instead of New York.” 9 months and
H further said, “it’s been 9 months and 16 days. I am counting days. And, I am genuinely missing my home.”
Rishi Kapoor Supported Kangana Ranaut
Rishi, while supporting Kangana Ranaut, said, “I agree with Kangna that some people write whatever comes to their mind. And, because of this serious journalist get into trouble. When did I said that I am angry?”
He further said “There is nothing like this. It leaves the question marks on the credibility of the well-meaning journalists. Though I do not fully agree with what Kangana said. In such a situation anyone can get annoyed.”
