The game of allegation between BJP and TMC still continues. Prime Minister Narendra Modi while taking a jibe West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee promised to construct an idol of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar. Someone damaged the idol during the violence in Kolkata.
The Prime Minister said that we will make an idol of Panch dhaatu.
Turning to Modi’s statement, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said, “Bengal has money to make an idol. But, can Modi return the 200-year-old heritage?
Mamata Banerjee said that that PM Modi should prove the allegations or she will send PM Modi to jail.
Yesterday, 15th May, during Amit Shah’s rally violence broke out in which they damaged the statue of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar.

At an election rally in Mathurapur Mamata Banerjee said, “Last night, we came to know that the BJP had filed a complaint in the Election Commission so we can not hold any meeting after the meeting of Narendra Modi.
The Election Commission is the brother of the BJP,”.
She further said, “It was a fair institution first, now everyone in the country says that the Election Commission has sold out to the BJP.
I feel bad, but I have nothing to say besides this. I am ready to go to jail. I am not afraid, to tell the truth,”.
Modi’s Code of Misconduct: Congress
While talking about the Election Commission’s decision to stop the election campaign, the Congress party said that this shows the weakness of election commission.
In place of the Model Code of Conduct, Modi’s Code of Misconduct is going on.
They also questioned whether the commission will work under PM Modi- Amit Shah only.
