On Tuesday, 13th August, Army Chief General Bipin Rawat said that the Indian Army is ready to deal with any threat. He said that Pakistan has been increasing its military capability near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir for the last few days. This is normal and we are ready to meet any challenge in this area.
Every country takes a step to protect itself – Army Chief
Army Chief said- every country takes security measures keeping in mind any danger. If Pakistan is deploying additional army on the LoC, then there is nothing to worry about it.
During an event, they asked the army chief that Pakistan has been steadily increasing its capabilities with the LoC since Article 370 was lifted from Jammu and Kashmir. On this General Rawat said – We need not worry too much about this.
On the question of increasing military activities on the LoC in the coming days, he said – Army is always ready. If something goes wrong, we can deal with it. If military activities increase then it will be the selection of Pakistan.
General Rawat said- If the enemy wants activities on the LoC, it is his wish. The army is on high alert on LoC. If Pakistan is in a cold state, we have kept the army ready to respond to it.
The top commanders of the Indian Army are constantly monitoring the situation. Apart from this security forces are also deployed in this area to face any kind of civil opposition.
According to sources, after the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir by the Modi government, Pakistan may try to create unrest in the valley. It can try to spoil the state of the state through violence, blasts or suicide attacks.
