The grand finale of Indian Idol 11 took place on Sunday night, in which Sunny Hindustani of Bathinda was declared the winner. Sunny received a reward of Rs 25 lakh with the Indian Idol-11 trophy. The runnerup was given Rs 5-5 lakh. First runner-up Rohit Raut and second runner-up Onkana Mukherjee. The third and fourth runners-up were Adriz Ghosh and Ridham Kalyan.

Ayushmann Khurrana arrived with the film’s star cast in the finale to promote his film Shubh Mangal More Savdhan. During this, he said that whoever will be the winner of Indian Idol 11 will get a chance of playback singing in the next T-Series film. It is worth noting that Sunny has sung songs in Emraan Hashmi’s film The Body and Kangana Runot’s film Panga before becoming the winner.

The three judges gave the performance: The three judges of the show Vishal Dadlani, Himesh Reshammiya, and Neha Kakkar gave a tremendous performance in the finale. Audiences also burst into joy with the performance of the three.
A friend lent money for audition: Sunny was fond of singing since childhood.
The father died when he was 14 years old. The situation at home was not such that I could learn singing but started listening to Nusrat Fateh Ali’s songs from YouTube. Friends often asked me to go to reality shows but did not have enough money to audition. Friends asked me to audition for Indian Idol 11. A friend lent money, but the mother was not letting her go to the audition. I asked my mother to give me a chance. Mother let go. I had no preparation. I had heard two-three songs of Nusrat Saheb. The same songs were sung at the audition and God listened to me.
