Chidambaram said in the Rajya Sabha, “I wanted to speak in a pleasant atmosphere. Rahul raised the matter of farmers in the Lok Sabha,
Rahul Gandhi, MP from Wayanad, said in the Lok Sabha: ” The farmers of the country are upset. The government should pay attention to this. The promises made by the government to the farmers were not completed even after 5 years.
No special provision was done for them in this budget too. Ask the government to direct the RBI and the Kerala government to not threaten farmers for debt relief. On Wednesday, only a farmer from Wayanad has self-styled. Banks have sent a notice to recover 8,000 farmers from Wayanad for the recovery of debt.
