The political upheaval in Karnataka still continues. The Supreme Court has asked 10 rebel MLAs of Congress-JDS to meet Vidhan Sabha Speaker Ramesh Kumar on Thursday evening at 6.00 pm.
The court said that Vidhan Sabha Speaker should decide on the resignations of MLAs today. He should inform about their decision by Friday. Besides, the Karnataka Police also instructed all the rebel legislators to provide security.
Kumaraswamy convenes a cabinet meeting on Thursday
Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has convened a meeting of the Cabinet on Thursday.
According to the Chief Minister’s Office, all the ministers will be present in the meeting.
Because they have handed their resignation to the party president, not the Chief Minister. They have imposed section 144 in the assembly area of Bengaluru from July 11 to 14.

BJP legislators meeting on Thursday
According to party sources, BJP leader BS Yeddyurappa has called a meeting on Thursday for all party MLAs. After the resignation of the legislators in the recent political developments in the meeting, their membership and other related issues are likely to be discussed.
On delaying the acceptance of the resignation of the Congress and JDS legislators, Yeddyurappa said that the matter will come before the Supreme Court on Thursday and thereafter it is likely to end all the uncertainties.
Opponents should be ashamed – Shivkumar
Earlier on Wednesday, the minister and Congress leader in Karnataka government, D Shivkumar, reached the Renaissance Hotel in Mumbai to meet rebel legislators.
