There had already been many grand entrances. However, Rodrygo Goes has truly arrived at Real Madrid. His sensational hat trick against Galatasaray in the Champions League is the announcement for this.  The sky’s the limit for the 18-year-old wonder kid.

Afforded his second start in the elite competition on Wednesday in must-win cash, Rodrygo took the bull by the horns and repaid Zinedine Zidane’s faith in him in the best way.

Though he scored moments after coming on against Osasuna in September when donning Los Blancos’s senior colors for the first time and sent Madrid to the top of La Liga.

This was against the Turkish champions that the Santos academy graduate received his maiden debut a fortnight ago.


England’s football club Liverpool won their third consecutive group match in the Champions League. Liverpool beat Belgian club Genk 2–1 in Group E. On home ground Anfield, Georginio Wijnaldum scored for Liverpool in the 14th and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain in the 53rd minute, while Gaina’s only goal was scored by Mwanna Samata in the 40th minute. Liverpool has not lost at home in the European tournament for 5 years and 24 matches. Their last defeat to Anfield was in October 2014 against Real Madrid. Liverpool’s Chamberlain scored the fourth consecutive match.

Chelsea and Ajax played a 4-4 draw in Group H. Chelsea trailed 3–1 by the 63rd minute. After this, he equaled. On Chelsea’s side Jorginho scored on penalties in the fourth and 71st minutes, Ceaser Azpilicueta scored the 63rd, Reece James scored in the 74th minute. While Tammy Abraham of Chelsea scored the other, Kepa Arrizabalaga scored on goals. For the Ajax, Quincy Promes scored in the 20th, Donnie Van de Beek scored in the 55th minute. They showed DeDe Lind and Joanne Waltman the red card. But Chelsea could not take advantage of this.

Barcelona-Prague match draw 0-0

In Group F, Spanish club Barcelona and the Czech Republic club Slavia Prague played 0–0. Barcelona’s team could not score a goal for the first time after 46 home matches. In Group G, German club RB Leipzig beat Russia’s Club Zenit 2–0. In Group H, Valencia beat Lily 4–1, in Group G, Leon defeated Benfica 3–1, in Group F Borussia Dortmund beat Inter Milan 3–2. The Napoli-Red Bull match in Group E was a draw.
