First Death Anniversary of Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee

Today is the first death anniversary of former Prime Minister and veteran leader of Bharatiya Janata Party, Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Many big leaders including President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah arrived at his memorial site ‘Sadaiv Atal’ in New Delhi.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee was ill for a long time, he died on August 16th, 2018, after a long illness.

The government of India conferred India’s highest honor to Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 2014. He first became Prime Minister in 1996 and his government could run only for 13 days.
