NIA Raids 7 locations in Tamil Nadu Coimbatore Over link between ISIS

In Tamil Nadu, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has registered a new case against the suspects linked to the terrorist organization Islamic State (ISIS) in Coimbatore. Also, on Wednesday, in Raipur, they raided 7 places. They reported it to the agency that the friend of the main accused in the April 21 bomb blasts in Sri Lanka, Johar Hashim’s friend lives in Coimbatore. This suspect is being told as a Facebook friend of Hashim. In Sri Lanka, there were 258 people, including 11 Indians, who died in the blasts in Easter.

The Intelligence Department had informed the NIA that there were suspicious suspects of other IS including Co-Jiharan’s Facebook friend in Coimbatore. Earlier in May, NIA had raided 10 places in Tamil Nadu. The NIA had filed a case against the suspected terrorists of the IS. The investigating agency conducted a search campaign in Chennai last month.

Sri Lanka gives information about the hideout of 7 terrorists

They have also informed it from Sri Lanka that 7 terrorists related to IS are in Coimbatore. NIA filed a case against everyone on this basis and looked for them. Indian investigating agency raided in Kerala in search of suspects linked to the Sri Lankan blasts. The investigating agency had on April 28 conducted searches in four houses of Kasaragod and Palakkad in Kerala. NIA investigation revealed that terrorists had stayed in Kerala for a few days to prepare for the blasts.

NIA had detained three suspects from Kasaragod on 28th April. The investigating agency had recovered CDs and several other digital equipments from the fugitive Islamic preacher Zakir Naik from the suspects.
