Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Mission Mangal’, released on August 15th, has made a record on the first day. ‘Mission Mangal’ has a great opening, breaking the record of all Akshay’s films so far.
According to film critic Taran Adarsh and Box Office India, ‘Mission Mangal’ has earned Rs 29.16 crore on the first day. While John Abraham’s film ‘Batla House’ released along with Mission Mangal has earned Rs 14 crore on the first day. Film critics have also described the opening of Batla House as excellent.

Mission Mangal 1st Day Collection
‘Mission Mangal’ has done well in Mumbai and cities like Bengaluru, Mysore, Gurgaon, Bhopal. In Mumbai, the film made a collection of over 9 crores, while in Mysore, the film earned Rs 1.50 crores.
Akshay Kumar played the role of scientist Rakesh Dhawan in this film with the history behind the success of Mangalyaan.
Directed by Jagan Shakti, the film also stars Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Nitya Menon and Sharman Joshi in addition to Akshay Kumar.

However, ‘Batla House’ was a little behind in competing with the collection of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Mission Mangal’, but it has made its mark through its story, cinematography and skipping.
