Know the symptoms of Thyroid

Being ill or consumed by any disease in today's world is common. Now and then symptoms of diseases are found in everyone. One of the most common disease is thyroid. As this disease progress, Patients star to gain or lose weight creating imbalances in hormones. According to a study done in this regard, thyroid is seen 10 times more in women than men. Doctors say that the thyroid hormone is required for normal functioning of body parts, but if there is an imbalance in it, then it is a problem. The most common cause of thyroid-related problems is autoimmune thyroid disease (AITD). It is a genetic condition in which the immune system starts producing antibodies and stimulates the thyroid glands to produce more hormones.

There are two types of thyroid. Hyperthyroidism and Hypothyroidism

Following are the symptoms of Hyperthyroidism:

Weight loss, hand tremble

Unable to cope with heat, lack of sleep

Thirst, excessive sweating

Fast heartbeat, weakness, anxiety and insomnia

There is another type of thyroid, Hypothyroidism. Its symptoms are:

Sluggishness at work, fatigue, constipation

Slow heart rate, cold,

Dry skin, dryness in hair

Irregular menstrual cycle in women

Symptoms of infertility etc.
