Dhananjay hits his second half-century
Dhananjay D’Silva scored 57 runs and caught Bumrah off Saini. This is the second half-century of his career. Angelo Mathews was dismissed by 31 runs. Mathews shared a 68-run partnership for the fifth wicket with Dhananjay. Dardun Shanaka (9) was sent by Pardhian to Shardul. Hasaranga (0) was runout by Chahal. Danushka Gunatilaka (1) was caught by Jasprit Bumrah in the hands of Washington Sundar. Shardul Thakur caught Avishka Fernando (9) in the hands of Shreyas. Oshada Fernando (2) was run out by Manish Pandey. Kushal Perera (7) was bowled by Navdeep Saini.

They replaced Sanju Samson at number three in place of captain Kohli. He scored 6 runs. He hit a six off the first ball. Also, he was then lbw by Hasranga on the second ball. They dismissed Shreyas Iyer for 4 runs. Kohli run out after scoring 26 runs. He came in to bat at number six. Washington Sundar (0) returned to the pavilion on the first ball.
Dhawan hit his 10th career half-century
Shikhar Dhawan dismissed for 52 runs off 36 balls. This is the 10th half-century of his career. On the ball of Sundakan, Gunatilaka caught him. Dhawan shared a 97-run partnership with Rahul for the first wicket. Rahul scored his 9th fiftieth career.
Kuldeep and Shivam Dubey also out with Pant
Earlier, Team India made three changes, adding Yuzvendra Chahal, Sanju Samson and Manish Pandey to the team. Kuldeep Yadav, Rishabh Pant and Shivam Dubey rested. Samson returned to the team after four and a half years. He played in the last match against Zimbabwe in July 2015.
