In the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, the rain has spoiled the team’s equation. In the 16th match of the World Cup, Weather once again got disturbed because of which it forced the teams of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka to share each digit. After the match was over, Bangladesh coach Steve Rhodes looked very disappointed and could not control his anger. He gave this statement while taking the ICC back.

Steve responded to the matches being canceled due to rain, and said, “If we can send the person to the moon, then why not reserve a day for the match.” According to the Bangladeshi coach, there is no rocket science in it. If the reserve-day can be kept for the semi-finals and the final, then why not for the league match? However, this statement of Steve Rhodes has not yet received any response from the ICC.

Let us tell you that so far in this World Cup, three matches have been canceled due to rain and it is the highest in the history of the World Cup. Earlier, in the history of the World Cup two or more matches were never canceled due to rain. Due to the rain in this World Cup, teams are also required to share the points, which can prove to be crucial at the end of the tournament. However, ICC CEO David Richardson has already made it clear that the reserve-day line-up for the remaining matches, except semi-finals and finals, is not currently possible.
