Honda has launched its first BS6 scooter. The company has launched a new Activa 125 with BS6 feature. The new Activa is available in three variants – Standard, Alloy and Deluxe. It prices in which the Activa 125 Standard at Rs 67,490, while Honda prices the Alloy and Deluxe at Rs 70,990 and Rs 74,490 respectively. This means that the base variant of the scooter comes at a price of Rs 2478 more than the top-spec disc variant of the current Activa 125.

Earlier this month, they leaked some features of the Activa 125 BS 6. According to which the new Activa will have a 124 cc BS6 engine, which will provide the power of 8.1 horsepower at 6500 RPM. This capacity of the new engine is less than the existing engine which provides a power of 8.52 horsepower at 6500 RPM.
The current Activa where the carburetor works on the engine, the new Activa has a fuel-injected engine, which comes with much better fuel efficiency. On the occasion of the launch of this scooter, Honda said that they have filed 26 patents to further improve the scooter. Compared to the previous model, this scooter has a noise starter system.
The scooter offers Digi analog instrumentation and an IDLE start-stop system. Real-time fuel efficiency and range information are also visible on the new instrument cluster. The scooter has a side stand down indicator, front glove box, and external fuel filler cap.
The new Activa 125 is available in four new colors. It’s base variant costs Rs 67,490. We expect we will see it that similar growth in all segments. The new Activa 125 will come with a three-year warranty, which can be extended.
