Pakistan-based terrorist groups attempted to infiltrate Jammu and Kashmir 328 times in 2018, the highest in the past five years. He was successful in 143 of these attempts. They give this information in the annual report of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The ministry’s 2018-19 report available on Friday said that 257 militants killed and they killed 91 security personnel in Jammu and Kashmir last year, the highest in the past five years.

According to the report, 39 common people also died during this period. The report said that Pakistan-based terrorist groups tried to sneak into Jammu and Kashmir 328 times in 2018. However, out of which they were successful in 143 attempts. According to the report, there were 419 infiltration attempts in 2017, 136 of which were successful. In 2016, they made 371 such attempts, of which 119 were successful. In 2015, there were 121 infiltration attempts, of which 33 were successful. However, in 2014, there were 222 infiltration attempts and 65 attempts were successful.
According to the report, in 2018, 257 terrorists killed, 91 security personnel killed and 39 people lost their lives in 614 terrorist incidents in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the report, in Jammu and Kashmir, the figures of security personnel martyrdom, terrorists piled up and terrorist incidents in 2018 the highest in the last five years. In 2017, there were 342 terrorist incidents in which they killed 213 terrorists, 80 security personnel martyred and 40 civilians died.
Similarly, in 322 terrorist incidents in 2016, 150 terrorists killed, 82 security personnel martyred, and they killed 15 common people.
While in 2015 there 208 terrorist incidents in which 108 terrorists killed, 39 security personnel killed and 17 people died. The report said that in 2014, there were 222 Jammu and Kashmir terror incidents, in which 110 terrorists killed. Also, 47 security personnel martyred and 28 common people died. The annual report of the Ministry of Home Affairs states that since the onset of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir (in 1990), as of 31 March 2019, 14,024 people have died and 5,273 security personnel have died.
