On Tuesday, 13th August, Congress leader Digvijay Singh claimed that the situation in Jammu and Kashmir had worsened after Article 370 was removed.
He said that even though the central government is describing everything in the state as normal, foreign media reports have revealed different things.
Digvijay said that the Modi government has burnt thier hands by removing Article 370. Now our first goal is to save Kashmir.
He said, “Congress is being accused that it upheld Article 370, which led to terrorism.” But I want to clarify that 35A extends the same law which was made in 1927 by the ruler of Jammu and Kashmir. It does not allow people outside the state to work or buy land. The then ruler of Kashmir made this rule on the recommendation of Kashmiri Pandits. On Sunday, Singh had appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, NSA Ajit Doval to take any step with consideration, otherwise, Kashmir can get out of our hands.

But here, only those who raised the question were declared as traitors.

End the growing discontent about it. To this, Governor Malik said, “I have invited Rahul Gandhi to come to Jammu and Kashmir. I will send an aircraft for him so he can come to Kashmir and see the ground conditions here.”
