Shah Faesal Taken into Custody by Police at Delhi Airport

On Wednesday, 14th August, former IAS officer and President of Jammu and Kashmir People’s Movement Shah Faesal was taken into custody by Delhi Police. 

It is being told that Shah Faesal was going abroad. After being taken into custody, they sent Shah Faesal to Kashmir from Delhi Airport. With this, they have also placed him under house arrest.

Ever since the central government changed Article 370, he has been making controversial statements. He made a controversial statement on Kashmir on Wednesday. Shah Faesal had said that there are only two paths before us. Be it Kashmiri puppet or separatist. There is no other option.

Faesal had said that Kashmir needs a long, continuous and non-violent political movement to regain political rights.

He also targeted the Narendra Modi government at the Center on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha (Bakrid). He said that there is no Eid in Kashmir. 

People of Kashmir all over the world are crying over their land being wrongly included in India. We will not have Eid here until the special status of we got since 1947 is returned.

There is Fear in Kashmiris: Shah Faesal

Former IAS officer and president Jammu and Kashmir People’s Movement (JKPM) Shah Faesal while talking about the removal of Article 370 said that there is fear in Kashmir.

He further said that everyone’s heart is breaking. The sadness of defeat on every face is visible.

History has taken a horrible turn for all of us. People are shocked.

Before Shah Faesal, the former J&K Chief Minister and National Conference President Farooq Abdullah strongly condemned the abolition of Article 370. He accused Union Home Minister Amit Shah of lying about his current situation.
