Debomitra Biswal, director of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty starred ‘Motichur Chaknachoor’, says that producer Rajesh Bhatia ruined the film by changing the storyline. In fact, the producer had removed several members of the unit, including Debmitra, from the film, citing creative differences in March this year. In October Debmitra accused Bhatia of abusing her on the sets. Now that they have released the film, Debmitra is unsatisfied with the story shown in it.
They showed me a film by the court: Debomitra
Speaking to Spotboye, Debmitra said, “they showed me the film when the court issued a notice to Bhatia to show it to the director. I was shocked after watching the film. I thought – oh God what they made.” ” When asked if she was the director of the film, she said, “I have directed the film. But they cut parts and added unnecessary shots. There is nothing left in the film. This is looking like a C-grade Bhojpuri film. ”
‘I wish I could show my version’
Debomitra adds, “I wish I could show my version of the film. After the fight, she edited the film and Bhatia did it herself. The story has also been completely changed. This is not that story, What I directed. They ruined my film and career. ”
Debabitra said, “10-15 days ago senior executives of Viacom18 (production company) asked me to show my version of mine. They also liked it and were not tired of praising it. I asked them Whether he reached a solution? But it did not happen. They would release the film on November 15. Perhaps that’s why he came up with Bhatia’s version. They ruined my film. ”
‘I asked to remove the name from the credit list’
Debmitra explains, “He gave me credit as a director. After watching the film, I called him and asked him to remove his name from the credit list, because it’s not the film I made. It’s a scary movie. I just appealed to people on social media not to watch the film. ” According to Debomitra, she did not understand the reason behind why Viacom 18 did not oppose Bhatia. While she too had many problems with his version.
